Is the entertainment industry usually ahead of the general public when it comes to race relations?
I’ve sometimes thought that entertainment has this weird way of bringing people who would otherwise be killing each other together. Like in rap/Hip Hop Eminem became part of G-Unit (50 cent, The Game, etc). Or how on America’s Best Dance Crew–many dance crews have Asians , Whites & Blacks dancing together. Even in movies, like Obsessed you see White women supposedly chasing after Black men, or in Rush Hour you see Blacks & Asians working together to solve mysteries, etc
