I fetched my daughters from school early yesterday. I had to stop by the shops early to buy some milk, bread and a few other items. We parked outside the mall and soon made our way to the grocery shop. On our way we passed some smaller shops and suddenly my nine year old started arguing with her younger sister, aged six.
I ignored it, having learned that sometimes it is easier to understand one of their conversations by eavesdropping. Imagine my surprise when I learned they were discussing Justin Bieber – or Biever – or Beaver as I think it might be pronounced. WTF! When did this happen. Both my daughters enjoy a good Andrea Bochelli, Metalica, and many other quality bands. Somehow this little shit found a way in to my house! It is war buddy, or should I say girlfriend.
And guess what my girl said when I told her I don’t like the shit. “But daddy, Justin ‘Beaver’ likes Jesus.”
I felt like telling her he is going to need all the help he can get when I get hold of him!
