What are some good entertainment ideas for an adult birthday party?

My mom is having a big party on saturday for her 40th birthday and I’m helping her plan it. There will be adults and kids there so I need some ideas of what to do for entertainment and stuff for both age groups. there really isnt a theme or anything, so if you have any ideas or suggestions that would be awesome :] thanks!
